Hello, and welcome! In the Cauldron, you’ll find a mixture of book-nerd and witchy, spiced up with bits of Mom-life and amateur Spiritualist.

This blog will be a place where we can get together to chat about many things, including (but not limited to):

-Books (please tell me y’all saw that one coming)! We’ll review books, you’ll get some (hopefully) wonderful recommendations from me, we’ll talk about new releases, and why Sarah J. Maas is our queen (just kidding! Unless…)
-Paganism and Spirituality, such as my altar setups, deities I’ve encountered, and new things I am constantly learning on this crooked path of mine
-Witchy topics! YouTube recommendations, fun things you can do for the Sabbats and Esbats… maybe we’ll even delve into the latest Witchcraft trends
-Mom life, because it is the most rewarding thing I’ve ever done in my life, and I want to document and share every messy, wonderful moment of it

I am, by no means, an expert in any of these topics, but they’re all things I’m beyond passionate about, and will chat about with anyone who will listen, if I’m being 100% honest.

Hi, I’m Hallowe! I am thirty, a wife to an amazing husband, and mother to a rambunctious, unicorn-obsessed girl that will forevermore be known as “the Witchling.” In addition to being a full-time Mom, Wife, and aspiring to be a full-time blogger, I also have a full-time job, so it gets pretty hectic here!

You’ll never find me without a book close by. I aspire to have a library like Belle’s from Beauty and the Beast (huge surprise there, I’m sure), and I buy books like we have the space for that right now (we don’t). My favorite genre is Fantasy (both YA and adult), with some Science Fiction and Contemporary mixed in for flavor. Please don’t ask me what my favorite book is, because that is literally one of the hardest questions I’ve been asked. Period. What I will do is write a post diving in to my top 10 or so, as that will be…a little bit easier.

I am a recently re-dedicated Eclectic Pagan, and a practicing Witch, and I have been exploring my own Spirituality in-depth recently. I am also a devotee of the Goddess Persephone. These will be topics that I delve in to regularly, as it’s an integral part of who I am. I am, by no means, an expert in these topics. However, I still want to explore these topics in this blog. We can learn together!

Basically, I’m just hoping to bring people together who share a love of books, parenting, and maybe even some of the spooky stuff. I hope you find what you’re looking for here! Can’t wait to meet you!
